Hi, we’re Jamie & Tatiana.

Welcome to our little corner of Kelowna!

Jamie is a retired Power Engineer and Tatiana works in mental health, and together we're outdoor enthusiasts who love exploring British Columbia — whether it's hiking, camping, paddleboarding, gold panning or discovering hidden places off the beaten path.

We love creating spaces where guests can unwind and feel at home. Things like natural light, genuinely comfortable beds, quality linens, clear communication and thoughtful amenities aren’t extras to us — they’re the foundation of a good stay. Every detail in the space was chosen with the guest experience in mind.

If you've stayed at Sunset House before, welcome back! We took over from Susanne and Dennis, who built this home's reputation for warmth and thoughtful hospitality, and we're honoured to be the ones carrying that on. We've kept the details you may remember and are adding a few touches of our own along the way.

What we love about Kelowna

One of the things we love most about this home is the view. From Sunset House, the Okanagan Valley opens into a wide, 180-degree panorama that stretches for miles. The sky changes constantly, and evenings often end with sunsets that feel quietly special, no matter how many times we’ve seen them.

You’ll notice care in the small touches throughout the suite. Plush Jacuzzi towels and sandals, locally made boutique bath products, a quality selection of teas, games, music, and a fresh European apple strudel waiting for your first morning are all part of how we like to welcome our guests.

Our goal is simple: provide a clean, comfortable, well-equipped place where you can enjoy your vacation with confidence. We're always happy to share recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, beaches, wineries, hiking trails and the lesser-known gems that many visitors never discover.
